I've always seen the world a little differently, and now I get to capture the moments that mean the most.

I'm so glad you're here! I'm an elementary school teacher, photographer, animal lover and someone who believes the best photos are the ones that help you remember how a moment felt, not just what it looked like.

One of my biggest inspirations has always been my dad, who is blind.

Growing up, I'd describe my photos and videos to him in detail so he could experience the moments I'd captured. But I quickly realized that describing what was in a photo wasn't enough. When you boil a photo down to its basic elements, pose, color, lighting, outfit, and location, you can miss a huge part of what actually makes it special. When I describe images to my dad, I’ve learned that while those details matter, what really brings them to life is the emotion behind them. It’s the energy, the feeling, the “vibe” of a moment that makes it engaging and real. That’s what makes an image feel alive: the excitement on someone's face before they laughed, the way a parent looked at their child, the quiet moments in between, and the feeling of simply being there.

Because of him, I learned that a photograph is so much more than what appears in the frame. It's about preserving a feeling, a relationship, and a memory. That perspective has shaped the way I approach every session. Rather than focusing on perfectly posed photos, I'm always looking for the little moments that tell your story.

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Although I definitely loved being in front of the camera as a kid, my love for being behind the lens began in middle school when I joined the yearbook team. Not long after, I bought my first DSLR camera and spent my free time photographing my pets, family, friends, and anything in nature that caught my eye. As I got older, I fell in love with videography and spent several years telling stories through film. Even so, photography always held a special place in my heart.

To this day, I still love looking back at the scrapbooks my mom made when I was growing up. They let me relive my childhood in a really visual way, not just what happened, but how it felt. I can see the laughter, the inside jokes, and all the little moments I probably wouldn’t remember otherwise. Those photos remind me how powerful it is to have memories you can actually go back to, and that’s a big part of why I love photography today.

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm an elementary school teacher. Spending every day with kids has taught me patience, flexibility, and how to help people feel comfortable. Whether I'm photographing toddlers who need a little extra time or adults who say they're "awkward in front of the camera," my goal is to create a relaxed experience where you can simply be yourself.

Photography is more than a business to me, it's a way of preserving memories that deserve to be remembered. Because this isn't my full-time job, I'm able to keep my pricing affordable. I truly believe everyone deserves beautiful photos, and I want to make that possible for as many families and individuals as I can.

I'd be honored to tell your story and capture the moments that you'll want to look back on for years to come.
